It's no doubt that season nine of Flip or Flop is one of Tarek El Moussa and Christina Anstead's best yet. Their antics are priceless. In fact, the current season, which premiered in mid-October, has already attracted over nine million viewers. That being said, HGTV has greenlit the title for a season 10. This will be Anstead and El Moussa's fourth season of filming since announcing their separation in 2016.
According to a press release from the network, 15 new half-hour episodes of Flip or Flop have been ordered. Much like the current season, this next installment will continue to follow the divorced duo as they flip homes in Southern California, as well as co-parent their two children, Taylor and Brayden El Moussa.
"Season by season, Flip or Flop grew into a television franchise that is an unstoppable force," said Jane Latman, HGTV president. "Tarek El Moussa and Christina Anstead are stars who appeal to a wide audience and their triumphs and challenges are real and relatable."
Following the network's announcement, Anstead took to Instagram to celebrate the good news, as well as dole out praise for all the folks who helped make the show a success. "My goal was always a decade of tv," she wrote alongside a photo of her and El Moussa.
But besides hitting double digits in Flip or Flop seasons, Anstead expresses how this show has served as a memory reel for the family. "I love the fact that Tay and Bray will get to look back at this journey and watch themselves grow up," she wrote.
Despite all the flips Anstead and El Moussa have been through, their business partnership, as well as their love for their two children remains resolute. Flip or Flop season 10 is slated to premiere in late 2021—we'll keep you updated with more details as they become available. Also, Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa and Christina on the Coast will also return with new seasons in 2021.
